About our company:
Comeco is a family-owned business and part of the Belgian Pork Group—a network of eight facilities across Belgium dedicated to the production of high-quality pork. The group processes approximately 420,000 tonnes of pork annually, a significant portion of which is exported to over 50 countries worldwide.
The Comeco facility, located in Meer (Hoogstraten), employs around 100 people, primarily production staff. Each week, approximately 13,000 pigs are slaughtered and processed here, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and craftsmanship.
What you will do:
- As a driver, you will be responsible for delivering our meat products (carcasses/hanging meat and boxed products) to B2B clients within the province of Antwerp.
- You will ensure the accurate handling of all required documentation (CMR).
- You will assist with loading and unloading the truck when necessary.
- You will be responsible for loading and unloading empty crates/packaging (returnable packaging).
What we expect:
- You hold a Category B driver’s license (for light commercial vehicles/vans) and have completed Code 95 training.
- You have prior experience driving on Flemish roads (specifically in the province of Antwerp).
- You are customer-friendly and service-oriented.
- You are able to communicate effectively in either Dutch or English.
- You are flexible regarding working hours.
- You take good care of your vehicle.
- You are capable of working independently.
- You prioritize safety—both your own and that of other road users.
